I've got the app installed and running on my Curve 8330. But I can't find a way to make it run in the background, which means I can't do anything else with my BB while tracking. This is unacceptable.

Just click "end call" button to switch the application. It will not end your trip, I hope. I was not able to send report or view it on the site or in my BB.

when i try to open the alx or cod file to load onto my blackberry tour it says window can not find a program to open it. what do I do and can somebody give me a step by step process of how I can download buddy on my tour. I have not seen anyplace with any instructions yet

you have to install it using BB desktop software. Download it from
<http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/#tab_tab_desktop>
then connect your BB to your computer and install from your desktop.
