<description>Topic: Can BW software run in on mode in background?

Message: kkeezer wrote:Hello, I have a 15 year old son that I am going to be getting a blackberry for his up coming birthday. I don't really want him to know I am planning on loading this software on the phone, I want to keep track of his location without him knowing it so I can keep an eye on him. He has some friends that can drive and I know he will soon start to be going out and not calling home (like most kids do at that age) and I would like to have an idea where he is at without him know it or seeing any kind of software running on his phone. I hate to be covert, but if he knows it's on there he will turn off the phone or remove the software. Thanks form a dad,Kyle
i understand your point of view. its RIDICULOUS that people won't just answer your question and quit giving you parenting advice and opinions. i was wondering the same thing, too. as i figure it out i will post it back here for you. i installed it on my own blackberry and will play with it and test out if it runs in the background.its not their business if you plan to spy on your CHILD. :P

<description>Topic: always status :error sending

Message: Bold 9700 on 3UK network. Downloaded the App yesterday. Went out in my Kayak today and it seemed to be working when I left. Now I can't send, &#34;Error Sending&#34;. Am trying through my home network, no joy either. What's going on? Is it worth sticking with or can anyone suggest an alternative program as I really need this? I wish Endomondo would hurry up with their Blackberry version as it seems good.

<description>Topic: Status: Error Sending (Three S2 mobile)

Message: Hi, I have installed Buddyway on Nokia N78. The Problem is that despite trying all the application modes, every time coordinates are sent to Buddyway server, a security warning comes up asking 'Allow application buddyway to use Positioning data ?' and 'Allow application buddyway to send or receive data...?'. This essentially makes the software to be used manually. Any help...

Message: Ok, I have the 8530 and after about a minute or so it goes into powersave mode where it shuts off the screen, this unfortunately also shuts of the tracking.&#160; Is there a way t make it continue tracking or is there a way to turn of power save mode... I hate having to make it up ever minute to keep my trip tracking active.
